Amarra is a licensed professional counselor with a Master’s of Science in Education in Professional Counseling from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Amarra has experience working with a variety of mental health challenges in various treatment settings. She has over 5 years of experience working with eating disorders and a special interest in working with individuals with trauma histories. 

Amarra uses an integrative approach pulling from various evidence based and experiential practices to provide a safe and custom fit therapy experience that will most likely include some humor sprinkled in there too. She is also trained in Brainspotting and trauma informed care to help individuals work through painful past hurt and roadblocks in their lives.

Healing, in whatever form, takes courage. Courage is not the absence of fear… it's feeling the fear, the insecurity, the doubt and deciding that something else is more important. And that something else… is YOU.

When not seeing client’s, Amarra is most likely spending time at the barn with horses, cuddling her cats, hanging out with friends/family or (like Nichole) indulging in her newest neurospicey hyperfixation.
