About Danielle
Danielle graduated with her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lakeland University and is a nationally certified counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors. Danielle has experience working with adults and teens struggling with disordered eating/eating disorders. Danielle also has experience with anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD. Danielle strives to create a space that allows for exploration, awareness, and growth about ourselves and our lives.
Danielle believes that change occurs within therapeutic relationships grounded in unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuineness. Danielle works in collaboration with her clients to help identify therapeutic goals that align with client values. Danielle promotes and embraces the practice of mindfulness and gratitude, the value of human connection, and the importance of finding meaning in one’s life.
Clients can expect the use of evidence based therapeutic skills and a strength-based approach to support their needs. The most common approaches Danielle utilizes are cognitive/behavioral techniques, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and positive psychology. In addition, Danielle is also trained in Brainspotting, where she can help assist you in processing your experiences, releasing past or present hurt, and developing tools for healing.
Outside of work, Danielle is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her family. Danielle can often be found camping, hiking, fishing, or simply enjoying some fresh air.
